Testimonies

While out evangelizing, one of our evangelists felt led to stop someone out walking with his dogs. It quickly became apparent that he was really downcast and discouraged -- looking down at the ground, speaking in a low voice, and avoiding eye contact. After sharing the gospel and our testimonies, he gave his life to Jesus and we had the privilege of praying with him as he put his faith in Jesus! Thank you, Lord! After we finished praying with him, one of our missionaries had a sense that he had pain in his leg. We asked him if he had pain in his body, and he said he had foot pain from being on his feet all day. We prayed for his feet, and he said that the pain completely left! He was so shocked by this that he asked whether we were Chris Angel the magician. We said, "No...that was the Holy Spirit!" One of the beautiful parts of this encounter was that the healing of his feet was more than just the relief from pain, but it was a tangible representation of God's love for him. He started showing emotion when he said that all the pain had left. It was clear that the Lord was touching not just his feet, but his heart too, showing him that he had not been abandoned but that he was seen and loved. All glory to Jesus!

A woman came forward for prayer for chronic knee pain. After a few moments of prayer, our prayer team member looked up and saw tears coming down her face. She said her knee was tingling. They prayed again, and she tested it afterward to find the pain had completely left. Prior to the gathering, one of our prayer team members had received a word of knowledge about left knees. This healing was her left knee. Thank you, Jesus!

A woman with pins and a metal rod/plate in her ankle received prayer at one of our gatherings. As we opened for ministry time, her lower leg began to noticably tremble, which she interpreted as a sign to come forward for prayer. Two prayer team members laid hands on the ankle and prayed. She described a “bubbling” feeling in her ankle and found that the pain had reduced by about 90% and that she was able to begin running on the ankle again without pain. In following up with her weeks later, we found the improvement had persisted. This young woman is a youth leader at a large church in the area and subsequently described the experience to the youth, saying that she didn’t know this was even possible, at which point the children erupted in applause for Jesus. Thank you, Lord!

While receiving prayer a woman was overcome with the presence of God, describing the experience as though she had been put under anesthesia during which Jesus took her to a waterfall. Upon waking, her knee, which had undergone multiple surgeries and was in constant pain, experienced a 90% reduction in pain and the chronic clicking and popping was no longer occurring. We checked back in with her multiple times over several weeks afterward to find that the healing had persisted and the pain, the clicking and popping, (and her daily use of kinesiology tape) had not returned. Thank you, Jesus!

Prior to a night of street evangelism, one of our prayer ministers saw the word "alcoholism" while praying for one of our evangelists. This was accompanied by an impression that this evangelist would encounter someone who would be delivered from an addiction to alcoholism that night. Later that night, the evangelist indeed encountered someone who confessed being stuck in alcoholism. As they prayed, this person experienced visible manifestations as the stronghold was released, resulting in physical change in her eyes and gait, and a sense of freedom and peace afterward. Thank you, Lord!

Prior to a time of street evangelism, the name “Brian” was revealed during prayer to one of our prayer ministers. Later that night, one of our evangelists encountered someone named Brian who gave his life to Jesus right there on the street! Thank you, Jesus!

During street evangelism, the Holy Spirit showed one of our evangelists the name of the sister of a person being prayed for. Our evangelist also was shown that the person had arthritic pain in his shoulder that kept him up at night. This led to a meaningful time of prayer, after which he reported that his pain had reduced and that mobility had improved. Thank you, Lord!

While receiving prayer from one of our prayer team members on the street, a man experiencing homeless described his body as tingling all over. In subsequent texts with him over the next few days, he said his chronic nerve pain was essentially gone. Thank you, Lord!

One night we were feeling lead to go share the gospel with 2 kids who live across the street from us. One of them accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior! But the older brother was not ready yet. They both received bibles though! We gave them some good bible verses and we lead the one who received Jesus in a repentance prayer. So thank you, Lord!!!

While shopping at Aldi, the Holy Spirit prompted one of our evangelists to pray for someone using a cane. During conversation, our evangelist learned that this person was experiencing chronic hip pain. After praying, the person reported significant pain reduction (though not complete elimination) and went home carrying his cane because it was no longer needed. Thank you, Lord!

Prior to an going out for street evangelism, one of evangelists received an image of a spider. Later that night, this evangelist encountered someone wearing a shirt with a spider web on it who gave his life to Jesus right there on the spot. Thank you, Lord!

While evangelizing on the streets of Broad Ripple, we felt lead to pray for a young man who was wearing a boot on his foot and using crutches. After the first time we prayed he said that the pain dropped from about a 4 to a 2. So we prayed again and he said that ALL the pain had left!!! After the healing he still wasn't ready to give his life to the Lord, but he walked away knowing that Jesus healed his foot and loves him very much. Hallelujah! Thank you, Jesus!
